Boston's No December strives to carry the listener through a wide range of moods and emotions. With crooning vocals, lush guitars, and cyclic rhythms, the band blurs the lines between many different styles of rock to create a unique sound that is all their own.
The first incarnation of the band (then known as Trustfall) emerged on Boston's club circuit back in September 2000. Local and regional gigs followed and the band gained praise from local critics as well as many internet fanzines. After the release of 2001's debut "In the Essence of Innocence", the band's reputation began to grow and enabled them to secure a management deal, and soon after, gigs all over the Northeast and beyond including major showcases in New York City and Los Angeles. No December was also nominated for a 2003 Boston Music Award and has performed alongside such acts as: Sevendust, Filter, Puddle of Mudd, Seether, Nonpoint, Static-x, Tommy Lee, Earshot, Gravity Kills, Mushroomhead and Moth.
After the departure of vocalist Ryan Potts in May 2003, the band recruited vocalist TJ DeMonte who is a longtime friend of Steve and Matt's as well as their former bandmate in Sugarmilk (Hartford CT). TJ brings to the band a unique and powerful presence. His melodies are haunting and infectious and are the perfect compliment to the bands instrumentation.
As the band constantly strives to push the limits of their abilities, they pour their hearts without reserve into their melodic and aggressive compositions. It is for this reason that the bands live performances fail to disappoint. No December will continue to develop their loyal fan base by touring throughout the Northeast and beyond and spreading their sound over the internet and radio.
"Möbius", the brand new 5 song EP, produced by Jim Foster (P.O.D., Waltham, Nullset) is set for release June 1, 2004 through Wonderdrug Distribution. With a slew of live performance dates secured for 2004, the band continues to cement their reputation as one of New England's premier loud rock experiences.
