January 26, 2005:
Hey, what's up No December fans and friends. It's definitely been a while since our last news update. Anyway, we wanted to post something to let you all know what's up. To get right to it, at this time we are not able to continue making music together. No December has been a multi-state band for quite some time now. Andy K has been a trooper for over 6 years driving up to Boston from New York for practices, shows, recording, etc. Around the time TJ joined the band, both TJ and Matt were living in Hartford, while Steve and Zac remained in Boston.... hence a muti-state band. Despite this geographic separation, we were able to get together in Boston whenever possible and make music that we all loved. Being an independent band with members spread out over three states gets to be tough, and could not be expected to last forever. We are very grateful for all that we were able to achieve, and all the incredible support that we have received from you our fans, friends, and families. We all love to play music and will always have music in our lives, and who knows... you may even hear from No December again sometime in the future. We will try to keep you posted as to what each of us is up to musically, so check back here from time to time.
Thanks and take care,
No December

May 15, 2003:
Recently, some of you may have caught wind of rumors floating around, and some of you might be surprised in reading this.
A few weeks ago we had a long band meeting where Ryan announced that he is leaving the band. The reason for his decision is largely due to drastic differences of opinion on how we should be functioning as a band. We regret that it has taken us a while to come to this point of realization, but unfortunately, the end result is that we are not all on the same page and Ryan has decided to move on and pursue other interests.
As a band, the five of us agree that this has truly been an amazing life experience for all of us and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone that has ever supported us. In our short career to date, we managed to record a full length album that we are very proud of as well as had the privilege of performing in front of thousands of people. We are also very grateful to have shared the stage with some amazing bands and met a ton of really cool people.
The five of us would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to our management, lawyers, all the webzines, promoters, DJ's, press, bands and especially all of you FANS that have supported us over the past 2 1/2 years. We realize that many of you will be very bummed out by Ryan's departure, but just remember that this is rock 'n roll and things like this happen.
As things stand right now, we will be playing a couple of final shows with Ryan. The last of which being at The Hard Rock Cafe in Boston on May 31st.
As for the future of this band, the remaining four of us (Zac, Steve, Andy & Matt) plan to continue on as No December and have recruited a new lead vocalist. His name is TJ DeMonte and he is a good friend of Matt and Steve's and used to sing in their old band Sugarmilk back in Hartford CT. TJ is truly a great vocalist and we are very psyched to have him on board. This whole thing happened pretty fast, we had been out of touch with TJ for quite some time and then out of the blue, we got in touch a few months back. A couple of weeks ago, when Ryan first mentioned his intentions to us, we approached TJ with the idea of possibly hooking up with us in the event that Ryan leaves the band. Luckily for us, he was down!
We have all decided that the remaining 4 members of the band will continue using the name No December because we have all put a lot of time, work, sacrifice, energy and passion into this band and developing the name. It obviously won't be the same, as Ryan is a tremendous talent and will indeed be missed, but the remaining four of us love playing together and are confident that we can make great things happen. It will certainly be different, and we hope you all will like it.
Ryan will definitely continue to pursue his musical interests and we're sure great things are in store for him. We will continue to keep you up to date here at nodecember.com as well as on our e-list with news and updates on any new developments as well as any musical projects that Ryan gets involved in.
Over the next few weeks we will be overhauling the website with a new design and a new Mp3 or two, so check back often.
Thank you all again,
Sincerely,
Zac, Steve, Andy, Matt & Ryan
