A few things for Street & E-teamers to keep in mind,

With the E-Team, the best places to go and promote are messageboards and chat rooms where people who are interested in new and underground music hang out (ie. webzines, radio station sites, other rock band's sites, etc.). We encourage you to "go all out" and "reprazent" by spreading the word guerilla warfare style, just please don't get carried away. All we ask is that you do not repeatedly post the same messages every single day, multiple times a day at the same website. By doing this you will be sure to piss off "regulars" who hang out on the sites, and by pissing someone off, they are not likely to take an interest in what you're promoting. The general rule of thumb is that if it's already been posted somewhere, and you can still see it, don't post it again.

With the Street Team, we ask you to promote at any public place that will accept a poster or flyer (ie, record stores, shows, skate & snow shops, college bulletin boards, music shops, etc). We ask you to please refrain from taping flyers or posters to street poles, mailboxes, or anything that is considered public or private property. Also, if promoting for shows, please DO NOT hand out flyers for shows INSIDE venues other than where the show is happening. Clubs really, really hate that and will sometimes go as far as fining the offending club or band.
